Feria

This is a picture postcard hillside village located less than 20km from Zafra.

Images of Feria in Extremadura Driving on the Badajoz road from Zafra, you'll see Feria nestled on the side of a hill with a castle on the mount. It may not seem particularly high up when gazing on the village from the road, but once you're in the village, the views out across southern Extremadura are breathtaking and arguably only matched by the views from Hornachos.

The village is made up of narrow, steep and windy roads and the working donkeys you'll often see in the village are the ideal form of transport.

The castle on the top of the hill is in good condition and the views from there are even greater than those from the village proper.
