Cheles

Cheles is a small village in southern Badajoz, close to a lake popular for watersports that straddles the border with Portugal.

Situated in the comarca of Olivenza, the city of Badjoz is 50km to the north.

The population of the village is a little over 1,300 people and the residents are able to enjoy a range of watersports on the nearby lake, the largest reservoir in Europe.
